Botech Data Privacy Policy

Dear Customers, Business Partners, Visitors, Employee Candidates and Staff; BOTECH ELEKTRONİK SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. As (“BOTECH” or “Company”), we attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this context, we would like to inform you about your personal data and processing processes as "data controller" in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

This Policy aims to ensure the sustainability of the Company's "principle of conducting company activities in transparency". In this context, the basic principles adopted in terms of compliance of the Company's data processing activities with the regulations in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVK Law") are determined and the practices implemented by the Company are explained.

The Policy is directed to natural persons whose personal data are processed by the Company through automatic or non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.

The policy was published by the Company on its website and made available to the public. In case of conflict between the current legislation, especially the Law, and the regulations contained in this Policy, the provisions of the legislation shall apply.

The Company reserves the right to make changes to the Policy in parallel with legal regulations.

WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data means information that identifies or makes identifiable your identity. The categories of your personal data that may be processed by BOTECH are stated below.

Identity Data: Refers to real persons who benefit from the products and services offered by BOTECH.
Contact Data: It is the data group that can be used to reach the person (Phone, postal address, e-mail, fax number, IP address, ).
Personal Data of Special Nature: This category of data refers to data types such as (i) health data received from personnel within the scope of personnel and occupational security (ii) biometric data such as fingerprints and facial scans of individuals (iii) criminal record records regarding criminal convictions of individuals. .
Visual Data: It refers to the photographs taken of the personnel at their entrance to work or the images of the people recorded in the camera recordings made for security purposes in BOTECH physical environments. )
Audio Data: Data regarding people's voices recorded with security cameras during call center calls or in BOTECH physical environments.
Personnel Data: It is a type of data that includes the identity and contact information of the personnel, as well as their occupation, education and financial data, within the scope of the personnel file, which must be legally created within the framework of the employment contract established with the personnel.)
Purchased Product Information: Data processed into BOTECH databases within the scope of manufacturer and warranty responsibilities, as well as the performance of technical or installation services regarding the products and services purchased by individuals.
Contract Data: It refers to all the data such as signatures, signature circulars, real person company information that BOTECH has entered into the database as a result of the contractual ties it has established with its business partners, suppliers and external resources with which it has legal or commercial relations.
Location Data: It refers to all the location data of its employees processed by BOTECH for internal audit purposes.
Performance Data: It is all the data processed for the personnel within the company for the purpose of internal audit and improving functionality, and for the performance audit of business partners outside the company.

METHOD AND LEGAL REASON FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

ENSURING THE SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF PERSONAL DATA


The Company takes all necessary precautions, within the means possible, depending on the nature of the data to be protected, in order to prevent unlawful disclosure, access, transfer of personal data or security deficiencies that may occur in other ways.
In this context, the Company takes all necessary (i) administrative and (ii) technical measures, (iii) an audit system is established within the company and (iv) in case of illegal disclosure of personal data, the measures foreseen in the Personal Data Protection Law are acted upon.
DESTRUCTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Even though it has been processed lawfully in accordance with Article 7 of the Law, in the event that the reasons requiring processing are eliminated, the Company deletes, destroys or anonymizes personal data, ex officio or upon the request of the Relevant Person, in accordance with the guidelines published by the Institution.
BOTECH has prepared a DISPOSAL POLICY in which the destruction procedures of personal data are determined and published within the company. All destruction processes are carried out in accordance with this policy.
